Sicco Buijing

At the end of 2024, I completed my master’s degree in Finance at VU University Amsterdam. During my studies, I organised a student consulting project at the FSA, for which I conducted M&A research within the local market in Colombia. This first introduction to the dynamic world of M&A confirmed for me that I wanted to develop further in this field.

After completing my master’s, I started as an intern at Yuno Advisors. The market segments we serve immediately appealed to me, as did the scope of the projects, which often take place in direct cooperation with successful and ambitious entrepreneurs. During my internship, I was able to apply a lot of financial knowledge from my studies in practice, on diverse and interesting transactions. What makes this work so interesting for me is the variety between deals and projects, no day is the same. After successfully completing my internship, I started working as an Advisor.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends and family. I also like to be active, playing football all my life (in a friend’s team these days) and having a broad interest in sports and health. I like gaining new experiences, and I don’t shy away from (sporting) challenges!
