PS in Foodservice acquired by Swedish Matilda FoodTech

Yuno Advisors advised the shareholder and management of PS in Foodservice on the sale of the company to Matilda FoodTech.

PS in Foodservice (www.psinfoodservice.com), based in Ede, is a leading provider of product specification and product information solutions for the foodservice industry. Through its PIM database, PS supports producers, suppliers and buyers with detailed information on ingredients, nutritional values, allergens, sustainability and impact scores, making the platform a key link within the foodservice value chain. After 16 years, founder and owner Gerard Sterkenburg confidently transferred the company to Matilda FoodTech.

Matilda FoodTech (www.matildafoodtech.com) is a European foodtech company offering a central software platform that connects all steps in meal processes, from procurement and planning to production, serving and follow-up. The company supports healthcare institutions, education and professional kitchens in improving safety, health, efficiency, sustainability and cost control. Matilda FoodTech is backed by Monterro, a Scandinavian investment firm focused on the growth of software companies across Scandinavia and Europe, supporting continued innovation and international buy-and-build expansion.

Yuno Advisors assisted the owner and management of PS in Foodservice throughout the entire sale process, including project coordination, preparation of transaction documentation, guidance during management meetings, supervision of the bidding process, support with the letter of intent, due diligence coordination, transaction structuring and deal negotiations.
