“We made a selection between several corporate finance advisors prior to the potential sale of Crème de la Cream Group. Yuno’s pragmatic approach, deep M&A sector knowledge and especially their empathetic approach has resulted in calmness and confidence vis-a-vis the buying party. As a result, we went through the process in a natural and pleasant manner. In short: choosing Yuno Advisors has been an excellent choice!”
Thomas Tordoir, Managing Director CDLC Group
Crème de la Cream Group (“CDLC”), a company offering food related co-packing and co-manufacturing solutions – is sold to Portion Pack Europe, a subsidiary of the German listed Südzucker group. With the acquisition by Portion Pack Europe, CDLC comes under the wings of one of the largest producers of portion packs in Europe. This international strategic acquisition will enable both parties to further strengthen their position and also achieve various synergy effects, both in operations and commercially.
Role Yuno Advisors
Yuno acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of CDLC throughout the entire transaction regarding an international trade sale. Our advice included overall deal coordination, drafting of the information memorandum, structuring of the transaction, assisting in deal negotiations and management package, drafting a letter of intent, financial modelling including sensitivity and valuation analyses, coordination of the due diligence investigation and – in cooperation with a lawyer – negotiating the process documentation.
CDLC, founded in 1946 and located in Zaandam, offers co-packing and full-service co-manufacturing solutions to B2B and B2C customers in the field of small sized packaging and new production introductions. The company mainly works for major national and international third-party brands and retail chains (private labels). In addition, the own brands (a.o. Crème de la Cream, SQZD and Tammi) can be found in various countries and retail channels. The company has a flexible and broad product portfolio including a.o. grain products, toppings, milk powders, lemonade syrups and healthy snacks which are available in many packaging formats ranging from 0.5gr to 2kg.
