Yuno Advisors advised European Hotel Capital, a hotel asset management organisation founded by Joost Mees together with several financial partners, on its participation in LBG Hotel Group, a hotel group operating nine hotels with innovative concepts across major Dutch cities.

LBG Hotel Group (www.lbghotels.com) is a hotel group that develops and operates innovative hotel concepts. The group’s hotels are known for distinctive guest experiences, attention to detail, surprising design elements and a strong focus on hospitality. In recent years, LBG Hotel Group has achieved significant growth through the development of several new hotels in the Netherlands. The portfolio currently includes The Green Elephant Hostels, Townhouse Designhotel Maastricht, Townhouse Apartments Maastricht, Townhouse Designhotel The Hague, Mabi City Centre Hotel Maastricht, Kaboom Hotel Maastricht, Qbic Hotel WTC Amsterdam and Hotel Mariënhage in Eindhoven. Before the summer, the four-star-plus The Ald Hotel will open in The Hague.

European Hotel Capital (www.euhc.eu) is a hotel asset management organisation founded in 2022 by Joost Mees together with several financial partners, including White House Development from Gouda. EUHC manages a rapidly growing portfolio of hotel asset management assignments, including Motto by Hilton in Rotterdam, City Hotel Gouda, and the new Mama Shelter in Amsterdam North, which is scheduled to open in 2027. Recently, EUHC further strengthened its team with the appointment of internationally experienced hotelier Rogier Hurkmans as Chief Operating Officer.

Yuno Advisors acted as exclusive advisor to Joost Mees and European Hotel Capital throughout the entire transaction process. The advisory work included deal negotiations, preparation of the letter of intent, development of a multi-year business plan, and the structuring and completion of the transaction.
