Yuno Advisors advised the shareholders of Vergelijkdirect.com on a strategic partnership in combination with the sale of a majority stake to RISK. Through this transaction, RISK strengthens its position in the online distribution of financial and insurance products, with a particular focus on the business market.

Vergelijkdirect.com (vergelijkdirect.com) is an independent digital comparison platform based in Soest, offering comparisons for personal and business insurance, energy and other products. Vergelijkdirect.com combines online comparison technology with personal service and has helped more than 130,000 customers since its inception. In recent years, the company has significantly strengthened its position in the business insurance market, with an increasing focus on self-employed professionals and SMEs.

RISK (www.risk.nl) is a Dutch financial services and InsurTech company active in the distribution of financial products. The company combines its proprietary technology platform SureBase with an extensive network of insurers, financial advisers and online distribution channels. RISK aims to further expand its position as a digital financial supermarket and pursues growth both organically and through acquisitions.

Through the addition of Vergelijkdirect.com, RISK aims to further expand its online reach among entrepreneurs and businesses. Vergelijkdirect.com’s comparison technology and digital market position will be combined with RISK’s technological infrastructure, network and AI expertise. Vergelijkdirect.com will continue to operate as an independent platform, with the current management team and employees remaining involved in the further development of the company.
