Yuno Advisors advised the shareholders of Houtop on the sale of the company to Meinders Catering.

Houtop (www.houtop.nl) is an Amsterdam-based foodservice company with a history spanning approximately 60 years. The company specialises in the production and supply of fresh lunch products and meal packages, including filled rolls, sandwiches, paninis and wraps. Houtop serves a broad range of business customers across, among others, travel, hotels & conference centres, catering and the institutional market. From its production facility in Amsterdam, Houtop operates a flexible production platform capable of handling both regular volumes and large incidental orders.

Meinders Catering (www.meinderscatering.nl) is a family-owned business based in Badhoevedorp with more than 30 years of experience in the catering sector. As a full-service caterer, Meinders operates its own bakery and production kitchen and provides catering services to, among others, businesses, government organisations, events and funeral locations.

The acquisition of Houtop supports the continued growth of Meinders Catering and further strengthens its position in the catering and foodservice market. Meinders previously also acquired De Saladetuin, a transaction in which Yuno Advisors also advised the selling shareholders.
