Sale of De Saladetuin to Meinders Catering

Yuno Advisors advised the owners of De Saladetuin on the sale of its activities to Meinders Catering.

Founded in 1988 as a brasserie/traiteur and operating as a caterer for more than 25 years, De Saladetuin operates in the Amsterdam area as a caterer for various companies and institutions within the healthcare, cemeteries, training institutes, offices, municipalities and tourism sectors. Subsequently, De Saladetuin provides catering services to a wide selection of private customers. Since 2020, De Saladetuin has also been supplying night food meals to various hospitals in the Amsterdam area, paying extra attention to the body’s specific needs during a night shift.

Meinders Catering, a family business with more than 30 years of experience in the catering sector and based in Badhoevedorp, is a full-service caterer with its own bakery and production kitchen. Meinders provides its catering services at companies, government institutions, events and funeral venues, among others. Since this year, the new generation of the Spierenburg family has become shareholders in the company to shape its future.
