Acquisition ViaNorm by DEKRA Certification

Yuno Advisors assisted DEKRA in its acquisition of the assessment and certification organisation ViaNorm of Innovam Group. This acquisition of a competitor in the automotive and transport sectors allows DEKRA to expand its activities in the Netherlands in the field of auditing and certification of systems and personnel.
The international expert organization DEKRA, headquartered in Germany, and in the Netherlands known among other things for the KEMA-KEUR quality mark, has global growth ambitions in the “TIC” market (Testing, Inspection and Certification). Yuno Advisors advises the in Arnhem (Netherlands) located division DEKRA Certification Group in its acquisition strategy, and as such advised DEKRA in the acquisition of the specialised assessment and certification organisation ViaNorm of Innovam Group, the leading knowledge and training partner for the automotive and transport sectors.

ViaNorm is an accredited, medium-sized assessment and certification organisation specialising in the automotive, transport, logistics and refrigeration sectors, and was since a certain period of time part of the Nieuwegein (Netherlands) based Innovam Group. Innovam is the knowledge and training partner for the automotive and transport sectors in the Netherlands, and with the foundations VAM and BeVam, it has the objective to impart knowledge and increase skills within the industry.
