Acquisition Boulangerie Oscar by Stach Schaberg and Esgo Kuiper

Yuno Advisors has advised Stach Schaberg and his partner Esgo Kuiper on the acquisition of artisanal bakery Boulangerie Oscar.

Boulangerie Oscar (www.boulangerieoscar.nl) was founded in 2015 by Rogier Heijn and Nadine Mantel. With great expertise and love for the craftsmanship, they have grown Boulangerie Oscar into a small chain with a central bakery in IJmuiden and urrently four OSCAR shops (1 in IJmuiden, 2 in Haarlem and 1 in Heemstede). Since its establishment, the focus has always been on making delicious artisanal products and that philosophy will be continued by Stach and Esgo together with the experienced team at Boulangerie Oscar.

Stach Schaberg previously founded and expanded his own urban-deli concept STACH to 19 locations before continuing under the wing of catering company Vermaat. Together with his business partner Esgo Kuiper, he will further expand Boulangerie Oscar, both in terms of product assortment and number of locations.

Yuno Advisors assisted Stach and Esgo in the purchase process as advisors. Our advice included general project coordination, creation of documentation, supervision of the due diligence process and structuring of the transaction.
